But have you ever thought to give your nail a break? Yes, they need to rest a bit, too. Embracing the natural nails of yours and keeping them healthy is also important. Here are some tips to help you have a well and flourishing nails.
Avoid acetone-based polish removers
According to studies, the one product you should avoid if you have brittle nails is acetone nail polish remover. It will strip the nails, causing them to become brittle and changing the color of your natural nails to a yellowish color.
Don’t force your nails to do every thing
Avoid using your nails to open a hard box or jar, or scratching and peeling off stickers. By all means, stop forcing and abusing the nails, they will be damaged and cracked. Instead, use a real tool or ask for help.
You need a vitamin supplement
The great vitamins for your nails is Biotin and Vitamin E. Biotin helps to increase nail thickness and growth also prevents nails from splitting and breaking. Vitamin E is also beneficial for the nails, there is a pill for you to consume or a gel form that you can apply directly on the nail.
