What to Do and Where to Stay in Australia in 2018

We’ve got the low down on the down under.

Australia is one of the most popular travel destinations from Indonesia. With one short  flight away, you are already transported to another continent! Though most head straight to lively Sydney or the pleasant Melbourne, there are also hip and exciting things for you to do in other parts of Australia. Come explore with us!

Perth, which is only a 4.5-hour flight away from Jakarta, is famed for its art scene and beaches. You’re bound to find Instagramable spots in nearly every corner of the city. Come to Kings Park and Botany Garden, Perth City’s Grand Lane, and Elizabeth Quay for a soothing and picture-perfect afternoon!

Another city worth visiting is Canberra, another up-and-coming city. Visit New Acton and Braddon, hip lifestyle centers, as well as an array of exciting museums. Foodies will appreciate new hype restaurants, the Frugii Dessert Laboratory being one of the popular choices for dessert lovers.

Get closer to nature and the animals by unzooing. It’s like a zoo, but without those pesky fences or glass walls, so you can really get up close to Australia’s native animals. Frolic with an adorable wombat at Maria Island, or visit the Tasmania Unzoo to meet Tasmanian devils, gold possums, kangaroos, and Eastern quoll in their natural habitat.

Unwind for the night at one of many posh hotels spread across Australia. The Capsule Hotel in Sydney is an experience of its own, while Perth’s Tribe and Aloft Hotel as well as Rambutan Townsville are so picturesque.

It’s time to discover a whole new Australia in 2018!
