What to Prepare before Seeing Captain Marvel at Marina Bay Sands

It’s badass mode on as we hear the news that Captain Marvel cast and directors are visiting Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, next month.

It seems like Marvel Cinematic Universe understands that we just can’t wait until March to see our captain on screen. Just few days ago, Marvel announced that the cast and crew will be holding a special fan meet event for their Asian fans in Singapore on Valentine’s Day.

Along with directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the main cast that consists of Brie Larson (Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), and Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva), will greet their fans at Sands Expo and Convention Center. This is the first time Disney and Marvel to hold a major fan meet event after Avengers: Infinity War last year.

Now, before we lose our conscience and arrive unprepared at the venue, here’s what we need to crosscheck before cheering for our favorite superheroes:

#1 Beware of Scams

The event is open for public for free, meaning that you need to pay extra attention to anyone who charges you money for the tickets.

#2 You Need to be There on Your Own

Don’t let anyone queue for you because tickets are given in first come first serve basis. You need to be on your own on 10 February at Sands Expo dan Convention Centre, Level B2, Hall F starting from 10AM. Be sure to bring along the original copy of your ID, such as passport.

#3 But First, Sign Up.

Due to the limited capacity of the hall, you are highly suggested to sign yourself up on this link before redeeming your ticket as mentioned in #2. If you already have Marina Bay Sands or SISTIC account, you only need to sign in with your existing user name.

#4 D-Day 101

Remember that your tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you are under 13, you will need parental guidance to enter the venue. It is also important to come early because the seats are limited, mostly when you have certain physical condition.

#5 Anything Else?

More detailed info will be provided at the point of registration and ticket collection. Remember that there will be security checks at the gate, so be sure to check the prohibited items list.
